This breathtakingly beautiful courthouse was built with red bricks back in 1891 using a Classic Revival style technique. This gorgeous and rich building boasts a tall bell tower with a bell cast by Meneely and Company from New York along with a giant clock. The cast iron Corinthian columns give this courthouse a stunningly dramatic appearance. Back when the Fernandina Beach Courthouse was constructed it cost about $20,614. Now, could you imagine what a building like this would cost today?

The courthouse hasn’t been forgotten through the years. You might be asking yourself how it looks so beautiful after being built 125 years ago. The truth is back in 2002 the building was completely restored.
